Brewtend
Right job.
Right product.
Start with your exact machine’s manual. The guidance below helps you understand the different jobs; it does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cleaning and descaling are different
Coffee cleaners remove coffee oils and residue from suitable brew groups, filter holders and baskets. Descalers remove limescale from compatible water circuits. Do not substitute one for the other, and never mix cleaning products.

Match the cleaner to the milk system
The Puly Milk cleaner in 4 × 25ml and 1 litre packs is for steam tubes; Jaguar’s information excludes automatic milk frothers for these two products. Puly Milk Capucino is a different product, intended for automatic milk-frothing circuits. Check the cleaner and procedure approved for your exact model.

Check tablets and backflushing accessories
Only backflush a machine designed for backflushing. Check the required tablet specification, or the fit of a blanking disc in your basket and portafilter. Diameter alone does not establish compatibility.
Take care with integrated grinders
Do not assume a product for a separate grinder is suitable for an integrated grinder in a bean-to-cup machine. Read your equipment manual and the exact product’s guide before use.
Follow the pack, not a generic schedule
Concentration and pack sizes can differ. Use the dilution, contact time and rinsing procedure specified for your equipment and the exact product. Cleaning frequency depends on the machine and how it is used; follow its manual and prompts.
Keep the source information close
Each product page links to supplier information and available product guides or safety data sheets. Read the label before use. If you cannot confirm compatibility, check with your machine manufacturer before choosing a chemical cleaner.
